Midilli Hydroelectric Power Plant is a 33.3 MW capacity HPP, that is designed and constructed on Yeşilırmak river, Amasya Turkey. The Project Activity (PA) utilizes the Yeşilırmak waters in a diversion-type run-of-river hydro power scheme to generate electricity with zero carbon emissions for the Turkish Power Grid with a 124,050 MWh electricity generation per year-  enough to power over 20,000 local homes. The electricity produced by project activity results in an emission reduction of 63,775 tonnes of CO₂e anually. The project has been producing electiricity since 2012, and contributes to local employment as well as the sustainable energy industry.
